Trends in Experimental Animal Research (TEAR) is a bi-annual journal published electronically by the Graduate Studies and Research Sector, Suez Canal University, Ismailia, Egypt.

It is concerned with experimental and laboratory animal research, original research articles in English-language, reviews and short communications are welcome. Manuscripts dealt with small and large farm animals including but not limited to aquatic species as poultry, as well as animals such as dogs, cats, etc… and cage birds, are particularly welcome. In case that animals subjected to adverse effects, stressful conditions, or harsh situations or treatment, the manuscript have to be first approved by the Institutional review board (Ethics Committee) related to animals.
